Artist Statement
My formal arts education in the 1980’s focused on conceptual art, installation art and printmaking. I continue to use a conceptual framework in my arts practice when designing installations, sculpture, painting, photography and printmaking series. Employing a variety of visual perspectives, I frame conversations, often depicting the reversal of conventional opinion and normal viewpoints. Illustrating aspects of our human nature and how we interpret our roles in contemporary culture.
